Rubber Brake Hoses Replacement
Time:2012-09-12

Most people do not realize that the typical useful life of a rubber brake hose assembly is only about six years. There are many causes of brake hose deterioration, such as contaminants in brake fluid. Brake lines deteriorate from the outside as well as the inside. While the signs of deterioration, such as cracked, hardened or weak hoses can often be diagnosed from the outside, the damage to brake hoses on the inside can go undetected until it is too late. Read more about checking your brake lines for wear and tear.

Hose & Fittings, Etc. can replace your original brake lines with OEM quality brake hose assemblies, usually the same day. Each brake line we make is pressure tested to 3,000 P.S.I. to ensure the safety of each assembly. All our brake hoses comply with SAE J1401 and DOT Standard FMVSS106.

If your vehicle has any modifications, such as lift kits or wider axels, the original brake hoses may not fit. Bring your old brake lines to any Hose & Fittings, Etc. ParkerStore location and we will fabricate a set that fits your new application.

Our offering is not limited to just cars and motorcycles – if it has hydraulic brakes we can make a brake hose assembly for it. We can fabricate brake lines for your trucks, ATV’s, rock crawlers, go-carts or any other vehicle.

For even better performance, consider replacing your rubber brake lines with stainless steel braided brake lines. No matter which material you choose, you are likely to save big compared to the cost of brake hoses from a dealer by purchasing your brake lines from Hose & Fittings, etc. [Qingdao Gofar]
