CNG tube is a component of compressed natural gas fuel system. It is a length of rigid fuel line widely used in natural gas powered vehicles (including mono-fuel, bi-fuel and dual-fuel vehicles). Qingdao Gofar’s CNG tube is manufactured from galvanized low carbon steel tube properly annealed to ensure its flexibility so that the tube can be manually bent for easy installation. The outer surface of the steel tube is covered with a layer of PVC coating, which is achieved with proprietary technology so that the coating is evenly applied and tightly attached to the steel tube to offer sufficient protection. To guarantee the performance of CNG tube, it is tested in strict accordance with Part 16 of ISO 15500 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fuel System Components – Rigid Fuel Line.

Steel Tube

1. Tube surface with 5-7 um zinc coated, which can keep 72-100 hour salt spray test without red rust.

2. Both ends of tube without rag, corner processing, smooth, absence of distortion.

3. Steel tube is welding tube with annealing treatment before zinc plating.

4. Inside of tube should be no rust

5. Bending tube with tools of 25mm radius, bending torsion should no more than 11NM

PVC Coating

Steel tube should be covered with PVC after zinc plating, single wall thickness is 0.65±0.2mm.

There is 20-50mm naked tube without PVC at the roll ends. Both ends are fit with white plastic cap.
